| Description: | The WCF Political Programs Fellows will work with the Political Director and Programs Manager to build on WCFs She Should Run program, WCF PACs current and past endorsements and WCF Foundations research projects. The fellows will assist with She Should Run marketing and alumnae services operations, track candidate progress, build profiles of newly endorsed candidates and manage the creation of bi-weekly newsletters. To qualify, candidates should have a high level interest in politics, strong research skills and exceptional writing skills. Please complete the online form (http://www.wcfonline.org/page/s/wcffellowship) and submit a resume, a list of references and the WCF Fellowship Essay. In your essay, please describe your interest in WCF and women's issues and describe a project that you would like to focus on during your fellowship. WCF is dedicated to advancing the political participation and leadership of pro-choice women of all parties by providing the necessary encouragement, education and resources. We are building a national network of women voters, donors and activists whose efforts and venture capital ensure womens voices are heard. As political venture capitalists, WCF is unique amongst women's organizations. Whenever possible, our endorsements come early when the need for support is greatest. Through our affiliated Political Action Committee, WCF provides direct financial support to its endorsed candidates. And through a sister organization, WCF Foundation, produces original research relevant to women in politics. |
