Job Title: Regional Field Director
Organization: Better Schools for a Stronger Colorado
Region: Southwest
Description: Better Schools for a Stronger Colorado (BSSC) is a coalition of business leaders and education reform advocates committed to electing representatives who will stand up for quality schools for all children.

BSSC is seeking talented and energetic Regional Field Directors
(RFDs) to help elect state-legislative candidates who will champion school reform and business-friendly legislation.

RFDs will manage a paid canvass program in a competitive district within the Denver-metro area. Salary is competitive and RFDs will be supported with resources to be successful.

Responsibilities include:

-Working with the State Director to implement a robust and targeted paid canvass program.

-Hiring, training, and managing a reliable canvass staff to meet daily voter contact goals.

-Scheduling, dispatching, and equipping for success a daily team of canvassers.

-Gathering and recording accurate data, creating and improving tracking and quality control programs.

-Overseeing the preparation of canvass materials.

-Helping to set and exceed benchmarks for voter contact and GOTV.

-Recruiting, hiring, and managing paid canvassers.

Qualifications:

-One cycle of paid experience in canvass management or field is preferred.

-Be organized, responsible, honest, accurate, and responsive to the needs of the program.
-Management and training experience (canvass management experience preferred).

-Able to work collaboratively with diverse groups and individuals.

-Demonstrated ability to prioritize and handle a variety of projects simultaneously.

-Able to create and keep detailed financial, personnel, and program records.

-Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

-Computer proficiency, particularly with online databases and reporting tools.

-Willingness to work long, irregular hours, and weekends.

-A valid driver?s license and insured vehicle


-Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

-Must be willing to relocate to the district and available to start work soon.
