CTC has an opportunity for a qualified EOD Program Analyst at Misawa Air Base in Japan (2012-0591), McGuire Air Force Base in New Jersey (2012-0592) and Warren Air Force Base in Wyoming (2012-0593). EOD PROGRAM ANALYST Primary Responsibilities: -Provides technical support to the United States Air Force (USAF) Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) Flight. -Develops and designs programs within EOD Flight that are usually performed by flight leadership. -Establishes a Quality Assurance (QA) system to aid in evaluating performance. -Designs and maintains training and tracking schedule for the EOD Flight. -Prepares and reviews all flight Operating Instructions (OIs) pertaining to the mission of EOD. -Updates and monitors all reporting for EOD deployment systems, AEF Reporting Tool (ART) system, Status of Resources and Training System (SORTS), Defense Resources Reporting System (DRRS). -Schedules and coordinates internal and external training for all flight members. -Monitors and annotates training records while operating EOD specific training program. -Conducts explosive ordnance, explosive safety and roadside Improvised Explosive Device (IED) recognition classes to base populace. -Constructs TRAINING- IED training aids to be used in evaluating team chiefs/members of the flight. -Reports status of flights readiness capability to Headquarters United States Air Force of Europe (USAFE). -Is a Flight Member of the Exercise Evaluation Team (EET) for the base. -Troubleshoots and assist in repairing electronic/radio frequency problems associated with all flight robotic systems. -Manages classified Technical Orders (TOs) and Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Bomb Data reports. -Plans and prepares lesson plans for all training scenarios for associated weapons systems, aircraft, IEDs, conventional/chemical mishaps. -Develops and submits proposed guidance and coordinate with key staff members of the Wing Force Protection/Threat Working Group and in the development of training plans, procedures and policies. -Maintains flights AFOSH/OSHA programs to ensure compliance with emergency response operations and AF Form 55, Employee Safety/Heath Record programs. -Conducts internal self-inspections of functional areas to ensure compliance with Air Force Instructions and local policies. -Tracks discrepancies to ensure closure and institutionalization of corrective method/processes. -Prepares and briefs higher echelon commanders on EOD readiness status and any flight level issues that may be encountered. -Manages all external programs that the EOD Flight is required to maintain by DoD standards and Air Force Instructions (AFI). Basic Qualifications: -Candidate must be at least a high school graduate. -Must have graduated from the United States Military Navy EOD School, NAVSCOLEOD Graduate (DD Form 214 and Graduation Certification required). -Candidate must be able to speak and understand fluent English. Must have the ability to understand English. -Knowledge of USAF EOD policies, procedures and AFIs pertaining to EOD operations. -Prior EOD experience with a Senior-level Badge. -Minimum 12 years EOD experience. -Valid Driver's License. -Knowledgeable in all Aspects of Flight-Level AF EOD functions, with a desired level of increased knowledge in AF Training and scheduling. Familiarity with Air Force Training Records (AFTR) program or current AF automated computer products desired. -Be able to speak in front of large groups. Clearance: Candidate must be able to obtain/maintain a Secret security clearance and be able to be cleared for access to Critical Nuclear Weapons Design Information (CNWDI). Join us!
