| Description: | The Non-Residential Compares Program seeks an Assistant Program Coordinator who will be responsible for assisting in overseeing and ensuring that implementation of all contractual obligations is met. Assistant Program Coordinator will maintain programmatic compliances based on the standards set forth, which includes but is not limited to ensuring that consumer outcomes and target catchment areas are serviced, as well as adhering to programmatic policies. The Assistant Program Coordinator will oversee the day to day operations of VIP's Non-Residential Program which includes providing and/or ensuring all participants receive adequate counseling, case management and advocacy; access to resources and information which will enhance their self-sufficiency and conducting on-going evaluation of programmatic goals. The Non-Residential Assistant Program Coordinator will be responsible for assisting in the supervision of the Non-Residential Program staff. Essential Functions: - Completing reports as required by funders and requested by Director of Non-Residential Services - Ensuring all VIP residential and non-residential participants obtain Crime Victims Board Compensation Assistance information and assist with compensation claims. - Representing VIP at conferences, community meetings and special events - Working collaboratively with other VIP staff to improve delivery of services including volunteer/intern support and supervision, resource development, and special projects as needed - Coordinate and facilitate on-going support group for VIP participants. - Oversee and coordinate volunteers to provide VIP participants with direct services and support. Additional Qualifications: - BA in Counseling, Social Work, or related field a plus; MA preferred - Must be fully bilingual (Spanish and English). - Up to 3 years experience in the area of program development, implementation, policies and procedures, and supervision. - Prior direct service experience in the area of domestic violence and/or women and children/youth issues. - Must be knowledgeable in working with diverse communities, particularly Latino, people of color, and low income populations. - Must have excellent writing and documentation skills. - Must be well organized, assertive, and able to work independently and collectively. - Must be computer literate.
