Our Center for Financial Services plays a critical role in ensuring that hospitals, pharmacies and retail chains receive pharmaceutical products quickly - usually within 24 hours. Our entire team works to ensure patients receive their medications efficiently and begin the process of healing. Current Need We are seeking a Night Shift Operations Supervisor to lead a team of 15-18 individuals in a Pharmaceutical Distribution environment. The night shift will be Sunday - Thursday 6pm until. Position Description The Operations Supervisor is responsible for the operational activities of a variety of functional departments within the distribution center. These activites may include but are not limited Review and analyze reports, records and directives, and confers with managers/ supervisors to obtain data required for planning activities, such as new commitments, status of work in progress, and problems encountered. May be responsible for one or more of the following activities related to the receiving, storing, and/ or shipping of materials or finished goods. Ensure materials are received from proper vendors, delivered to inventory and finished goods, are available to meet production schedules, packaged according to specification and shipped in a timely manner. Ensure the security and accountability of materials and goods with inventory control. Evaluate current procedures and practices for accomplishing department objectives and develop and implement improved procedures and practices. Provide work direction, resolve problems, and set deadlines to ensure timely completion of work. Monitor and analyze costs and prepares budgets. Minimum Requirements 5+ years operational experience including 2+ years managerial experience Critical Skills 4 year degree Experience leading a team in a logistics, supply chain, warehouse, manufacturing or distribution environment Proven ability to lead and develop staff Computer proficiency in MS Office and a WMS Excellent business communication skills both verbally and in writing Additional Knowledge & Skills Skilled in interviewing, coaching, evaluation, discipline and record keeping Ability to communicate effectively at all levels the organization Ability to be multi tasking in a fast paced environment and make strong business decisions Experience with DEA regulations Education 4-year degree or equivalent experience Physical Requirements General Office Demands Ability to lift and carry 20-30 pounds Occasional overtime Benefits & Company Statement We believe you should be rewarded for the important work you do.
