Our Center for Financial Services plays a critical role in ensuring that hospitals, pharmacies and retail chains receive pharmaceutical products quickly - usually within 24 hours. Our entire team works to ensure patients receive their medications efficiently and begin the process of healing. Position Description Responsible for the operational activities within central fill distribution. Reviews and analyzes reports, records and directives, and confers with managers/ supervisors to obtain data required for planning activities, such as new commitments, status of work in progress, and problems encountered. May be responsible for one or more of the following activities related to the receiving, storing, and/ or shipping of materials or finished goods. May be responsible for ensuring materials are received from proper vendors, delivered to inventory and finished goods, are available to meet production schedules, packaged according to specification and shipped in a timely manner. Ensures the security and accountability of materials and goods with inventory control. May evaluate current procedures and practices for accomplishing department objectives and develop and implement improved procedures and practices. Gives work direction, resolves problems, and sets deadlines to ensure timely completion of work. Monitors and analyzes costs and prepares budgets. Qualified candidates must be flexible to work rotating 1st and 2nd shifts every two weeks. First shift is approximately 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. and afternoon shift is 3:30 p.m. until 11:00 p.m. Rotation is within a six day/week operation, Sunday through Friday Minimum Requirements 5+ years operational experience including 2+ years managerial experience Critical Skills 4 year degree Previous management experience Proven leadership ability Exceptional communication skills both verbal and written Mechanical/electrical aptitude Computer proficiency in MS Office with intermediate Excel ability Flexibility to work rotating 1st and 2nd shift schedule bi-weekly. The rotation is 5 days per week, but within the 6 day operating week (Sunday through Friday). Additional Knowledge & Skills Previous Central Fill distribution operations knowledge preferred Pharmacy operations or pharmacy tech skills a plus Ability to troubleshoot, debug, determine route cause of mechanical equipment Strong business acumen Education 4-year degree or equivalent experience Physical Requirements General Office and Warehouse Demands Standing and walking frequently throughout shift Lifting occasional Benefits & Company Statement We believe you should be rewarded for the important work you do.
