Job Title: Title IX Coordinator

Description: The University of Alabama is seeking a Title IX Coordinator. This position will be responsible for recommending policy and procedure changes and providing guidance to UA leadership on all emerging Title IX-related legislation, regulations, OCR reviews, and judicial case law.
The Coordinator will be responsible for monitoring and oversight of overall implementation of Title IX Compliance at the University, including coordination of training, education, communications, and administration of grievance procedures for faculty, staff, students and other members of the University community. Required qualifications include a master's degree in education, business or human services and one year of work experience in a related area OR a bachelor's degree in education, business or human services and three years of related work experience OR an equivalent combination of education and experience. Preferred qualifications include a Juris Doctor and knowledge of sexual harassment guidelines and conducting investigations in this area. Must be self- motivated and possess highly developed communication and interpersonal skills along with public relations expertise. Organization: Corporate Accountability International Job Title: Senior Foundations Manager
Description: Corporate Accountability International, a powerhouse in challenging corporate abuse for 35 years, is seeking a Senior Foundations Manager to develop and lead plans to significantly expand the organization's revenues over the next several years. The Senior Foundations Manager leadership is critical to securing the organization's needed capacity to challenge abuses which threaten human rights, public health, the environment and our democracy, protecting people?s lives across the world.

Corporate Accountability International was recently recognized by the World Health Organization for leadership in challenging Big Tobacco?s interference with the global tobacco treaty. Just last year, our members and allies across the country helped compel the National Parks Service to move forward with a plan to stop the sale of bottled water at the Grand Canyon, despite an attempt by Coca-Cola to get the plan tabled. And in the fall, we launched the multi- media project Food MythBusters with author Anna Lapp?, a project that directly challenges the Big- Food-perpetuated myth that we need industrial, chemical agriculture to feed the world.

The Senior Foundations Manager will work with a grant writer and a committed team of development staff. They will report directly to the Director of Philanthropic Partnerships while also working closely with organizational leadership, including the Executive Director and Deputy Director. The organization is made up of more than 60 smart and driven staff and interns working in a fast-paced and fun working environment with a network of members and allies across the world.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Expand the organization?s foundation
support by identifying new prospects and cultivating and stewarding relationships with program officers at prospective international, national, regional and family foundations.
- Write and edit compelling foundation
communications, including letters of interest, proposals and reports.
- Cultivate relationships with new and
existing funders through in-person meetings, phone calls and emails.
- Research and identify new prospective
funders by working with development unit staff and collaborating with staff across the organization.
- Regularly communicate with campaign staff
in order to provide program officers timely updates on campaign and media developments.
- Supervise a contract or full time grant
writer.
- Develop and facilitate timely and
effective planning and budgeting for the foundations program, including collaborating with campaign directors.
- Work with finance staff to prepare and
submit budgets and financial reports to foundations.
- Ensure comprehensive, timely and accurate
internal reporting and tracking of contacts and activity.
- Participate in organization-wide planning,
fundraising and campaign activities.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Demonstrated commitment to social justice,
with a global perspective.
- At least eight years of experience, with a
significant background writing proposals and reports and a proven track record in securing funds.
- Demonstrated ability to write quickly,
concisely, and in a manner compelling to philanthropic partners.
- Experience successfully building
relationships with program officers or donors.
- Ability to effectively orchestrate
involvement of senior staff.
- Savvy and persistent cultivation skills.
You enjoy reaching out to prospects and developing relationships.
- Strong verbal communication skills. You
can develop and create tailored pitches to communicate our story through in-person and phone meetings. Sense of humor a plus!
- Ability to juggle multiple tasks and
consistently meet deadlines.
- Computer skills: proficiency with
Microsoft Office, Excel and PowerPoint and databases a must.
- Campaign experience a plus.
- Willingness to travel 10-15%.
