| Description: | What We Offer The Planned Parenthood of Illinois Human Resources Department works to ensure that the agency is investing appropriately in its staff, and that staff have the necessary support in order to carry out our mission. As part of this goal we endeavor to maintain accurate and timely records. The PPIL Quality and Risk Management (QRM) Department works to ensure that the agency has a practice of improving processes/procedures and identifies any deviant processes/procedures that may impact the health and well-being of employees and patients. The QRM Department oversees the evaluation of the agency through audits, the QRM Committee, an incident reporting system, consultation with legal professionals and completion of QM work plans The HR/QRM Records Management Intern will work closely with the Director of Human Resources and Director of Risk to review, analyze, recommend changes, and appropriately consolidate HR and QRM records and tracking procedures. Internship highlights: ?Assist in researching best practices in document retention and records management ?Learn training content management software CAL, Excel and filing systems in a business environment ?Work with staff to create an internal procedure manual for HR and QRM file management What We Ask -Belief in and support of the Planned Parenthood mission -Interest and/or experience with Human Resources -Superior organizational and communication skills -Ability to work both independently and as part of a team -Willingness to help where needed -Commitment of at least 10 hours a week through the summer Location PPIL Administrative Offices 18 S.
