| Description: | What We Offer The Medical Services Administration Department provides management and support to Planned Parenthood of Illinois? 17 health center locations throughout the state. Title X is a Federal grant program that is dedicated to providing individuals with comprehensive family planning and related preventive health services, with priority given to persons from low-income families. PPIL?s 9 Title X clinics offer services with sliding-scale prices to patients who cannot afford to pay the full fees. The Clinical Operations Intern will assist with the preparation of a Title X Federal Audit in mid- June and regular state-wide Title X audits in the late summer and fall. The intern would be responsible for gathering the information requested on the provided auditing tools and organizing the documents in a clear manner. Internship highlights: ?Build an understanding of the Title X health care program in Illinois ?Gain hands on experience utilizing audit tools and preparing documents for a federal audit ?Opportunity to work with clinical, managerial, and administrative staff What We Ask -Belief in and support of the Planned Parenthood mission -Background or interest in Health Administration / Public Health -Superior organizational and communication skills -Detail-oriented and able to work with sensitive information -Commitment of at least 10 hours a week for the summer, starting in May Location PPIL Administrative Offices 18 S.
