| Description: | PolicyMic features remote writers from all industry professions and employment levels. We are flexible in accommodating busy schedules, but require that our writers set their availability prior to beginning their PolicyMic tenure. Writers will be able to review edits made to their submissions and PolicyMic editors will provide writers with constructive comments on every piece they submit. While writers are on-call, editors are in constant contact, providing them with the guidance necessary to fulfill PolicyMic's mission and enhance their writing skills. Writers who complete 16 on-call articles in a four-week span are eligible to apply for a full-time paid internship with PolicyMic. PolicyMic writing opportunities are available to talented writers looking to hone their new media writing skills while burnishing their resume. As part of the application process, applicants must provide a writing sample to demonstrate that they possess a level of proficiency appropriate to PolicyMic?s standards.
