| Description: | The Nonprofit Roundtable of Greater Washington Washington, D.C. The Nonprofit Roundtable of Great Washington (the Roundtable), an alliance of 300 nonprofit leaders in the region who are dedicated to addressing regional challenges and strengthening the capacity of nonprofit leaders and their community partners, seeks a seasoned executive, skilled manager, and sector thought-leader to serve as President. The President will work in partnership with the Board of Directors and the staff to lead both ongoing development and execution of a strategic vision and daily management of the Roundtable and its affiliates. The new President will join the Roundtable at a critical inflection point in the organization?s history as it transitions from its founding leadership and looks toward a future that builds upon existing successful programs while articulating clear strategic vision for how the organization can continue to positively impact the sector. The President will oversee 5 full-time staff members in addition to a collection of consulting and part-time staff and a budget of $1.8M in the management of all programs and operations. S/he will be an articulate spokesperson and a credible voice in the region, expanding membership and support for the Roundtable by offering nonprofits a platform for thought-leadership beyond the boundaries of their individual organizations and encouraging strategic partnerships that advance the effectiveness of nonprofits in the region as a whole. The Roundtable of Greater Washington Enjoying over 10 years of growth and success in the National Capitol region, the Roundtable is a coalition of over 300 nonprofits and community partners who are working in health and human services, education, the environment, the arts and more to collectively solve problems and incite progress toward building a strong, visible and influential nonprofit sector and improve the quality of life for all in the Greater Washington region. The Roundtable has recently expanded to include three affiliates in Northern Virginia, Montgomery County, and Statewide Virginia so that members in each of these jurisdictions can further their partnerships and their work locally as the Roundtable expands regionally.
