CTC has an opportunity for a qualified SIGINT Metadata Analyst at Afghanistan. SIGINT METADATA ANALYST Primary Responsibilities: CTC is seeking qualified individuals to work with U.S. Forces Afghanistan (USFOR-A) that requires long-term deployment to Afghanistan. This work is designed to support U.S. Forces in the Combined Joint Operations Area Afghanistan (CJOAA). This is a multi-faceted Intelligence Analysis Support program consisting of All-Source Intelligence Analysts, Human Intelligence (HUMINT) Analysts, Signals Intelligence (SIGINT) Analysts and Intelligence Requirements Collection Managers. Combat Intelligence Augmentation Teams (CIAT) are organized to operate as analytical and targeting teams in support of assigned military units plus other intelligence staffs and organizations. These teams are utilized for a myriad of intelligence support missions within Army Corps, Security Force Assistance Brigades (SFAB), Marine Corps, and Special Operations Joint Task Forces (SOJTF) organizations. The successful candidate shall function as part of an intelligence analytical team of military and/or DoD civilian analysts in support of USFOR-A, SOJTF and SFAB J2 staffs' analytical requirements. The SIGINT Analyst may be responsible for: - Researching, developing, presenting and publishing SIGINT products at the tactical and operational level related to insurgent activities and threats to local/regional stability as part of an overall intelligence analytical team. - Conducting analysis of raw and fused signals intelligence data concerning insurgent threat activities. - Providing input on multiple Government requirements and objectives. - Assisting with the analysis and production of various intelligence products and supplies analytical support for senior Military leaders. - SIGINT analysis on insurgent threats, mission planning, target development, damage assessment and counter-terrorism in the AOR and Afghanistan in general. - Attending meetings and conducting comprehensive research on complex topics independently or as a part of a larger analytical effort focusing on current events and long-term trends that could impact the supported unit's mission. Basic Qualifications: ?BS degree plus 0-2 years of directly-related experience, or equivalent mid-level military enlisted, or company grade officer experience. ?Training in SIGINT analysis with a minimum of 4 years SIGINT experience within DoD or equivalent Government agencies required, with operational-level experience preferred. ?Knowledge of Army/Joint SIGINT procedures, data processing systems such as CIDNE, RT-RG, NSANet and associated SIGINT databases/search engines. ?Proficiency in utilizing basic computer applications, mIRC, Jabber Chat, other intelligence related automation in support of analytical efforts and product development, and MS Office Product Suite (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel and Word). ?Strong research and writing skills and a capability to effectively operate as a member of an analytical team from a remote location in support of Afghanistan Theater of Operations requirements. ?Requires former MOS 1N, 35S/P/N, 35B, 352N/P/Q/R/S, 18F or equivalent. Clearance: U.S. citizenship required. U.S. Government TS/SCI with polygraph clearance is required for this position. Join us!
