Description:	Commanding Officer-Education and Training Section DIVISION: Management Services Division AFFILIATION: Non-Bargaining GRADE: Command Staff Level I JOB SUMMARY The Baltimore Police Department seeks a highly experienced and qualified Commanding Officer for its Education and Training Section. The Education and Training Section is comprised of Lieutenants, Sergeants, Officers, and Professional Staff and is tasked with Entrance Level Training, In-Service Training, Firearms Qualification, and any other Specialized Police Training. The Education and Training Section is committed to delivering high quality training to Police Officer trainees and veteran Police Officers. The Commanding officer is responsible for all Law Enforcement Instructional Programs and for managing all aspects and staff of the Education and Training Section.
