| Description: | The position is a full-time, Management Personnel Plan (MPP) assignment reporting to the Center for Teaching, Learning, and Technology Director. The successful candidate will provide leadership, expertise, and scholarship-informed guidance to strengthen and enhance inclusivity- and diversity-related elements in student learning across the curriculum and co-curriculum. The individual filling this position will have earned a doctoral degree and be knowledgeable about teaching and learning scholarship as well as instructional support methods. They will be highly motivated, organized, personable, and able to work as an effective team member. They will be able to work productively with diverse constituencies, including university faculty, staff and students from every college on the Cal Poly campus. They will have opportunities to teach on campus as part of their duties. The most competitive applicants will have solid experience teaching effectively in higher education and experience (or potential for) working successfully with faculty to improve teaching. Applicants should have experience or demonstrated interest in supporting faculty colleagues in the area of diversity/inclusivity.
