Job Title: Special Investigative Warden
Organization: Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources

Description: Conduct law enforcement duties in accordance with the goal of achieving statewide consistency. These duties include: planning, coordinating, and conducting overt/covert investigations; investigating complaints, interviewing witnesses and suspects, conducting interrogations, obtaining and executing arrest/search warrants, conducting audits and cross-checking of business records, conducting inspections, making arrests with or without warrant, seizing equipment with or without warrant, seizing illegal fish and wildlife, producing reports, preserving evidence, and initiating prosecution of individuals, municipalities and corporations through the judicial system. Establish and maintain internal and external partnerships to include local governments, other law enforcement agencies, businesses, local interests, environmental organizations, individuals and other key stakeholders to establish and promote management, enforcement and protection goals. In consultation with team supervisor, develop and implement a measurable workplan designed to achieve overall department goals and objectives efficiently and effectively. Provide essential information to citizens and provide information on the Department's rules and regulations while promoting management objectives.
