| Description: | NetCentrics is looking for a Master level Systems Engineer to engineer and enhance and support the Email (Exchange) and Messaging (Lync) Infrastructure of the Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD). This position is only open to U.S. Citizens and requires an active DOD security clearance. Secret is required and Top Secret or higher is preferred. We are looking for a Subject Matter Expert on Microsoft Exchange and Microsoft Lync. You will be working with a team of subject matter experts from a number of IT disciplines to work on infrastructure modernization projects and development efforts within the OSD network. These engineers will all be experts on various facets of the environment including Infrastructure, Microsoft Exchange, Database, Internal and External applications, VOIP, IT Security and more. They will be interfacing with you and will need your support. Responsibilities include: -Support the OSD transition to DISA Defense Enterprise Email by supporting the NIPR / SIPR migrations from Exchange 2007 and older into a new Exchange 2010 infrastructure -Assist with the handling of email archives using EVAULT -Manage backups and restores of email content -Configure and manage the Microsoft Lync enterprise software -Document designs, development plans and operations procedures The position will require a flexible schedule as testing and support and migration will require work outside of normal business hours to minimize impact to the operational environment. Qualifications: -7 years of experience in Systems Engineering and IT Solution Design -3 years experience working in the DOD environment -Deep demonstrable history and experience with large redundant Microsoft Exchange environments -Deep knowledge of Active Directory and history of supporting complex AD environments -Demonstrable history of managing backups and restores of email content -Demonstrable history of configuring and managing Lync in a large complex environment -A Microsoft Technical Certification required (MCITP Enterprise Messaging Admin and/or MCITP Lync Server Administrator) -CompTIA Security+ or Security+ CE certification required, or ability to obtain the certification within the first 6 months of employment -Demonstrated history of documenting designs, development plans, operations procedures for large complicated engineering projects -Demonstrated history of meeting deadlines and delivering results -Demonstrated history of navigating complex environments and delivering results in spite of communications and political challenges -This position is open only to candidates with an active DOD security clearance Additional Desired Skills: -Experience with Symantec EVAULT -Experience with Tivoli Storage Management Solutions (Backups) -Experience with CommVault based email archive tools -Experience with Quest Email Migration tools -Experience working with Blackberry Enterprise Server -Knowledge of the DIACP security process -Experience with Defense Enterprise Email Migration (DISA) -Knowledge of Best Practices for the design of Secure IT Environments NetCentrics Corporation is an Equal Opportunity Employer (M/F/D/V). |
