| Description: | -Respond to telephone, electronic mail, and/or walk-in requests for support for all systems and equipment within the IMCEN HQDA Service Desk environment in accordance with current or revised Help Desk SOP's and/or service level agreements. -Troubleshoot problems encountered using microcomputer software; Perform hardware/software testing and installation; Perform network and desktop based detection of viruses to counter/eliminate/control; Detect, contain and eliminate virus infestations. -Provide limited one-on-one desk side training for customers requiring assistance on standard software applications and/or IT equipment. -Provide general technical support for all dial in/remote access systems and other remote systems; Evaluate hardware, firmware, peripherals, software packages, etc., for use by staff and provide recommendations to accomplish the desired objectives. -Ensure technical safeguards are maintained to provide controlled user access, integrity of electronic mail, applications and user data. -Hours: Must be flexible to work varied shifts and days. Qualifications: Minimum required: -Must have IT experience. -The qualified candidate will have customer service experience, preferrably in the IT field - Must have a DOD secret clearance OR the ability to obtain a security clearance (United States Citizenship Required) Desired: -Security+ certification or the willingness to obtain within 6 months -High-quality verbal, written, and public relations skills NetCentrics Corporation (the "Company") is an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer.
