| Description: | Arizona List would like to announce the next round of our exciting leadership program - our student internship program, "AmAZons." Arizona List is a grassroots organization dedicated to getting more progressive women elected to office. Arizona List AmAZons are trained interns - women and men - who help make that happen. AmAZons participate in an intense three-month campaign program in Field, Operations, Finance, Communications, and Events. Interns undergo campaign training to learn about the Arizona campaign process, learn new skills and develop a deeper understanding of the multifaceted work that goes on to create successful campaigns. Interns are expected to work a minimum of 13 hours per week that will include both office work and field work. They will have opportunities to meet distinguished leaders from around the state, receive an intensive training from EMILY's List, and work with stellar candidates. Application Process: The summer program is specifically for students interested in mechanics of campaigns and learning basics. Applications for the summer program are due by June 15, 2013. The fall program is for students interested in more in-depth strategic initiatives, continues for two semesters, and would include a stipend.
