HAWC, a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, is a domestic violence prevention and advocacy organization serving a 23-city and town region of the North Shore of Massachusetts. HAWC provides free services and support to victims of domestic abuse to help them make informed, independent decisions about their futures. Founded in 1978, the mission of HAWC is to create social change by taking action against personal and societal patterns of violence and oppression. It has a reputation for providing high‐quality, client‐centered and trauma‐informed services. The organization is well known in its service area and has formed numerous meaningful partnerships with private, other nonprofit and governmental entities. The next executive director will take the reins at an important and exciting time in the organization's development. Organizational priorities are: -Build community presence -Strengthen our strategic planning -Generate increased income -Educate the board and develop its capabilities -Develop and align staff with our mission Salary: Commensurate with experience, within the framework of HAWC's operating budget This executive search is being conducted by Third Sector New England with Transition Consultant Nancy Jackson.
