Protest at the Embassy of Pakistan
Interns Lesley, Bryn, and Katie are pictured above with members of the campus team at a protest in support of Mukhtaran Bibi, a woman who was raped in Pakistan as a result of her brother's alleged crimes. The protest was organized by Amnesty International to put pressure on the government of Pakistan to recognize women's rights and punish perpetrators of violence against women.

Briefing on Obstetric Fistula

Jamela and Amina are shown here attending an informational briefing on obstetric fistula, a condition commonly found in countries where women are not given proper maternal care.


Rally Opposing the Nomination of John Roberts

Intern Briefing on the Supreme Court and Global Issues

After weeks of planning, the interns were able to enjoy the success of our briefing on the impact of the Supreme Court on women's lives domestically and globally.
