Intern Capitol Hill Briefing
Saving Women's Lives: The Importance of Reproductive Healthcare Funding
The big event of each summer is a Hill briefing planned by the interns. This summer, Reps. Hilda Solis and Carolyn Maloney joined us to discuss "The Importance of Reproductive Healthcare Funding." Our four panelists, FMF President Ellie Smeal, Craig Lasher, Crystal Lander and Katy Vedlitz, discussed the impact of cuts to family planning funding, the Global Gag Rule and increased birth control pricing.
