Advice for future interns: With so many interns in the summer, this internship is really up to you to get out what you want of it. Get to know your supervisors and senior staff – they were interns too at some point! They are a huge resources and extremely supportive. Celebrate the small victories to keep you moving forward – the work of a feminist is never complete so take the time to appreciate how far we've come. Also, take the Orange Line Metro to Court House and walk downhill :-) Always keep a blazer in your office for surprise visits to the Hill.
