I am a feminist because... I believe that, if given full and equal opportunities, women can substantially improve their families, communities, and societies. I want to help empower women, especially on an international scale, to reduce social injustice and poverty. I'm also really passionate about international children’s advocacy and feel that supporting women’s rights is an integral aspect of improving child welfare.

What is your feminist issue of choice? Women’s labor rights (particularly family-friendly workplace policies) and global women’s issues.

Future interns should make sure they… are prepared to walk up the Rosslyn hill every morning, go to $5 pizza at Piola (Beth and Courtney are pizza fans too—go with them!), keep up with the news(especially any news related to pandas), and don’t get too intimidated by answering the phone.
