Center for Law and Social Policy
CLASP is a national non-profit organization with expertise in both
law and policy affecting the poor seeking to improve the economic conditions
of low-income families with children and secure access for the poor to our
civil justice system through education, policy research and advocacy. Find
documents on child support, state welfare waivers and laws relating to work
issues.
Children's Defense Fund
Several opportunities to take action and express your concerns to the

World
An extensive site that covers a wide range aspects of military spending.
Best part of this site is a number of interesting and long public opinion
polls. They endorse candidates for 96' elections who have proven to be earth-and-people-friendly.
Voting records of each member of Congress and their background. Current
legislation is summarized and gives the visitor several opportunities to
contact policy makers.
Democratic Policy Committee Report by Tom Daschle
Background briefing about the Clinton/GOP budget. Partisan site educates
