Afghan women are prisoners in their homes as a result of the government takeover by Taliban, a militant fundamentalist Islamic group.
Use our action utility to urge the U.S. government and the United Nations to restore women's rights in Afghanistan.

1. use all possible means to restore women’s human rights to work, education, and safety in Afghanistan;

2. refuse to recognize Taliban as the legitimate government of Afghanistan; and

3. uphold the Platform for Action of the 1995 Fourth World Conference on Women that calls for respecting and protecting women’s human rights.
