Women's History Teacher's Guide

Feminist Teaching Tools

This modern women's history teaching kit is designed to reach people of all ages with the ideas, events, issues, and people involved in the struggle for women's equality. But most especially it is designed to reach students before they are overwhelmed by a sexist and racist world, and while they are still defining their own lives. The two unique teaching materials bring feminism alive, showing the magnitude of the struggle and the persistence and the courage of movement activists and documenting the tactics of the opposition.

The panelists at Expo 2000's "It's a Grrl Thing" create their own women's history, adding their young voices to the ongoing fight for women's equality.
