January 22 is the anniversary of the Roe v. Wade Supreme Court decision that made abortion legal in all 50 states.

Today, with an anti-Choice Congress, an anti-Choice President, and the possibility of several new Supreme Court appointments, protecting our Right to Choose is more important than ever!

Abortion Rights at Risk
Under Bush Administration

Abortion access is under greater threat today than at any time since 1973:

  • President-elect George Bush and the majority of both houses of Congress are anti-choice

  • Bush may appoint 2-3 anti-Choice Supreme Court Justices during his term - today Roe is upheld by only a 5-4 margin of support

  • Bush appointed anti-Choice extremists to key positions in the Cabinet that affect women's access to safe, legal abortion
