Feminist Majority Foundation is glad to offer syndication of our daily news items to non-profit organizations, academic institutions, students, activist groups and other communities interested in providing their members, staff and website visitors with the latest news on women's rights around the world.

By simply copying and pasting a few lines of code (VBScript or RSS), you can have daily news automatically appear on your organization's website.

When your visitors click on the headlines on your site, a new window will open directly to that story, with links to other stories, campaigns and related information. This will not take visitors away from your site, as the original window will remain open and available.

How to Syndicate the Feminist Daily News

Syndicating the Feminist Daily News is easy! First, pick your method - do you want to use VBScript or RSS?

VBScript - We provide you with the URL of a script that you can include in the code of your page. We currently have four options for the appearance of the news on your site, including headline-only versions, and versions that also include a first sentence.

RSS - We provide the URL of a simple RSS/XML feed of the headlines and fist sentence of each piece, with links. This gives you the most options for filtering your feed by topic or keyword, as well as the most options for formatting the appearance of the news on your site. Contact your webmaster to see if RSS code is something that they can implement on your website

The Feminist Majority Foundation (FMF) through its site, www.feminist.org, provides the syndicated news for free and on an "as-is" basis. Any site that chooses to use this service specifically acknowledges and agrees that FMF is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages that result from the use of, or the inability to use, the headlines.

FMF hereby grants a non-exclusive license to use, copy, publicly display, publicly perform, distribute, or otherwise make available through the site, FMF content, subject to the terms and conditions contained herein. You agree that you will not sell or sublicense the right to use, copy, publicly display, publicly perform, distribute or otherwise make available FMF content to any third party for any use. Nothing in this Agreement grants you ownership or other rights in or to FMF content, except in accordance with these terms.

You shall have no right to edit or revise FMF content unless authorized in writing by FMF. Notwithstanding anything to the contrary contained herein, upon written notice from FMF, you shall cease using any FMF content. Yes! The educational goal of the Feminist Daily News is to provide timely, reliable, and underreported information on women's rights, free of charge. We are pleased to allow organizations to use this service to enrich their own websites.

Do I need to be a programmer to syndicate content?

Not at all! We want the Feminist Daily News to be available for people with limited knowledge of updating websites. We will provide you with the necessary code for the syndication. You just need to let us know if you would prefer VBScript or RSS:

VBScript - we give you code that you copy and paste on to your webpage.
RSS - We provide the URL of a simple RSS/XML feed of the headlines and fist sentence of each piece, with links. This format is easily parsable to be integrated into many web applications.
